Intro of 1st Summer Brothers Smothers Show/Glen Campbell
The first ten minutes of the first Summer Brothers Smothers Show, June 23, 1968-when Glen Campbell became a household word. That first song was his swine song instead of his swan song, thanks to the Smothers Brothers bringing out a herd of pigs during his performance! Includes an original Kool Cigarettes commercial.

That’s Gary Bruzesse on drums and back up vocals, he tracked on some songs I recorded and it was right after this was filmed. He had mentioned how cool the orchestra was to play alongside, Glenn loved his playing.

The REAL band that was unkown was the Funk Brothers. Did you ever notice that none of the big Motown groups of the 1960s played a musical instrument? That is because virtually all of them used the Funk Brothers for their musicians. And those guys could play! Just list to the musical background on the Supremes' Stop! In the Name of Love.
